Excursion to Vienna: Exploring the Klima Biennale and More

As students, we embarked on an inspiring excursion to Vienna. Our journey was centered around the Klima Biennale, an event that uses the vision and power of art to drive a shift towards a livable future for our planet. At the Klima Biennale, we explored various exhibits that delved into the complex and urgent themes of global change, the climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and their impacts on the human-nature relationship. These displays made these issues tangible and experiential, highlighting the often underutilized potential of art in this context. This experience underscored the importance of finding new ways to share knowledge and engage in collective discussions. We invite you to browse through our collection of photos and reflections from the trip. Discover the highlights of our Viennese adventure!

Klimabiennale Festival Area

On Tuesday 15 May we visited the exhibitions "Songs for a changing season", "Biofabrique Vienna", "Probach", "Design with a purpose" and "Solutions and strategies" at the Klimabiennale festival area at Nordbahnhof and were given a private tour by local artists.

Museums and Exhibitions beyond the Biennale

We visited a range of other museums and exhibitions throughout Vienna, such as M.A.K, Belvedere 21, each offering unique perspectives on art, design, and sustainability. These experiences have significantly enriched our understanding and inspired our ongoing projects.

Having a Wienery good time!

We spent hours jamming to Falco's greatest hits and went on a wild hunt for Yung Hurn. It was an unforgettable adventure through the heart of Vienna, filled with laughter, music, and some hilarious mishaps. Every corner of the city echoed with our excitement, and every song became a cherished memory. Vienna's streets witnessed our impromptu dance sessions and karaoke battles, making it a time we'll always treasure and laugh about.
